How fees work

  • Fees are due one month in advance (by the 1st), preferably by standing order.
  • Sibling discount: 10% off the eldest child’s monthly fee.
  • Referral programme: families who have been with Montys for at least 6 months can refer a new child and receive a discount on their fees.
  • 5-day full-time discount is already applied to “No funding” 5-day rates.
  • No permanent half days — AM/PM half days may be booked ad hoc if available.
  • Funded hours cover 38 weeks; monthly fees include the remaining 14 weeks at full cost.
  • Lunch/tea on funded days: £3.50 per meal across the 38-week period (breakfast is free).
  • Where an eligibility code is required, renew it every 3 months and give it to the office.

Funding & payment options

  • Universal 15 hours for 3 & 4 year olds (term after 3rd birthday).
  • Working entitlements from 9 months+ with eligible codes (up to 30 hours).
  • 2-year-old funding where eligible.
  • Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers / salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) where eligible.

Fees & funding FAQs

Do you offer 30 hours funded childcare in Kew?
Yes — eligible families can use working entitlement funded hours (including up to 30 hours where codes apply). Universal 15 hours are available for 3 and 4 year olds from the term after their third birthday. We’ll help you check what applies.
Do you accept Tax-Free Childcare?
Yes. We accept Tax-Free Childcare and many childcare voucher / salary sacrifice schemes. Ask the office if you’re unsure about your provider.
Is there a minimum number of days?
Yes — a minimum of two full days per week. Permanent half days aren’t offered, though ad hoc AM/PM half days may be available.
How do funded hours affect monthly fees?
Funded hours cover 38 weeks of the year. Monthly fees include the remaining 14 weeks at full cost so your place runs across the full year. Lunch and tea on funded days are charged separately at £3.50 per meal over the 38-week period (breakfast is free).
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes — a 10% discount on the eldest child’s monthly fee when siblings attend together.
