Healthy foods help happy children. Our on-site chef prepares meals using fine natural ingredients — mostly organic and locally sourced wherever possible.
Montys was the first nursery in London with an on-site chef to achieve the Soil Association Food for Life Gold award — recognising our commitment to healthy organic meals every day.
Snack and meal times are an important part of nursery life: a social time for children and adults, and a chance to learn about healthy eating. Older children serve themselves; lunch is served family-style with tablecloths and cutlery.
Around 97.5%of the menu is made from scratch. Our growing plot sends seasonal ingredients to Chef Antonia's kitchen.
Our vegetable garden
Children help grow different vegetables in the Montys vegetable garden — then enjoy eating what they have grown. Gardening is a hands-on way to teach nutrition, where food comes from, and the pleasure of sharing a meal together.
